The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced its Distance Learning and Telemedicine Program (DLT) awards.  The purpose of this grant is to support the implementation of technological resources, training and infrastructure for the promotion of telemedicine, especially in rural areas. 

 Eligibility:

Entities providing education and medical care via telecommunications including corporations or partnerships, Indian tribes or tribal organizations, state or local units of government, consortia, and private for-profit or not-for profit corporations. Individuals are not eligible.

Applications are being accepted through April 25th, 2011.
