Help with Viewing PDF Documents

As you may have come to discover, viewing PDF documents through your web browser can cause your web broswer to crash.  Aggravating, to be sure.

Despair not.  A simple way to avoid this problem is to download the PDF doucment to your computer first, and then open the document using your Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Follow these few easy steps to experience PDF viewing joy.

The Few Easy Steps:

  1. RIGHT-CLICK (not LEFT-CLICK) on the link of the PDF document that you want to download. (Hint: Use the right button on your mouse, as opposed to the left button, to perform a RIGHT-CLICK.)

  2. A small pop-up menu should appear. Select "Save As..." or "Save Target As...", depending on which type of web browser you are using.

  3. Save the document to you computer, taking care to note the location where you saved the PDF document.

  4. Open the document using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To do so, open your Acrobat Reader program, select File from the menu and then select Open.

This should take care of most, if not all, of the problems you might have experienced or wish to avoid experiencing when viewing PDF documents.
