NCHAM Invites You to Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of Title V of the Social Security Act
Title V is the longest-standing public health legislation in American history and continues to work to improve the health of women and children. Thanks to Title V, children and families across the country and territories have benefitted from family-centered, culturally competent, coordinated care.
In particular, Title V supports services for children and youth with special health care needs, including children in need of hearing services as well as those who are deaf or hard of hearing. Additionally, Title V’s Maternal and Child Health Bureau supports state EHDI programs as well as NCHAM.
Registration is now open for the 75th Anniversary Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Federal/State Partnership Meeting, to be held on Wednesday, October 20, at the Washington Hilton in Washington, DC. All individuals and organizations who have worked to improve the health of women, children, including children with special health care needs, and their families are encouraged to attend this special commemoration. There is no registration fee to attend the meeting. Space is limited, so please submit your registration early to reserve a space. Registrations will be accepted through August 31, 2010.
